I am the second generation in the family who has worked in the restoration of antique furniture, learning at lot from my father, who was a master craftsmen. I would work with with him, for example, on period 18th century English furniture.
I am still fortunate to be able to use many of the tools that my father used and that were also passed down to him.
Using period tools and techniques passed down from my father, who was trained himself by old craftsmen, working in London for a company called Shards who specialised in furniture restoration and making hand copies of English furniture.
At the beginning of the 1990 I decided to start working for myself, still restoring period furniture for many trade customers and private clients.
I have been most fortunate to have been kept busy and to this day I still enjoy the work that I do and am proud of my heritage. I believe that this shows in the quality of my work, my high standards and attention to detail.
Some examples of my work are shown on this site and also on the various social networks which have links below.
Thank you for visiting my site and I look forward to meeting you in the future.
